UNLOADING RAMPS |

| |
| Many chair lift mountain
stations either have a stony or wooden board surface, on which winter
sportsmen disembark the chair lift with their ski or snowboard to then
glide on to the piste. As a result of strong winds, snow covering
these boards usually is blown off, leaving the winter sportsman to
disembark over small stones, thereby damaging his ski or snowboard.
|
Advantage-Skitrax:
By laying the easily interlocking tile units of Skitrax in the unloading
area (approx. 4m x 6m) to the edge of the piste, a disembarkment is
easily possible with or without windy weather. It should have been at
least 10 degrees inclination exits. Small stones fall between
the gaps of Skitrax, guaranteeing a gentle glide to the edge of the
piste. Even with strong winds, enough snow remains availble for smooth
unloading. |
