Comparable to the medial strip on the highway: if there would not be a medial strip, far more accidents would occur as a result of lack of orientation. With the medial strip each driver knows, where to line-in and which direction is to be followed.

The SKITRAX colour can also be used as symbol (for e.g. arrow) of orientation for wintersports-men. After a certain amount of units the SKITRAX colour can be manufactured according to any RAL colour number.
