Skitrax supports DSV Ski Cross National Team In the Olympic Training Centre Munich starts are trained
____________________________________________________________ Since June 2010, the German Skicross National Team trains on a 40m long slope on Skitrax FA with startgate in the Olympic Training Centre in Munich. For the first time, the start training was held on Skitrax in summer 2009. Sports Director Skicross Heli Herdt and DSV Skicross National Team Trainer Alex Böhm no longer want to do without this ideal method of preparation for the winter season. Already last year the tough start training in the summer months guaranteed many victories. Beginning of January 2001, Simon Stickl won the first Skicross World Cup with many convincing starts in all heads. Then five athletes qualified for the Olympic Winter Games in Vancouver. After the strong performance of the Europe Cup team during last winter, the members of the LG1b now are asking for the start gate. In particular the rapid start and the pushing off on the first metres is decisive over victory or loss. In order to give the many national ski crossers an optimal training opportunity during summer, the company Skitrax World offers the PVC mats to a special DSV rate to sports associations. The Skitrax SP mats can also be used during summer for normal ski training, for a slopestyle parc or for nordic skiing.
